Leaders should give hope and nurture dreams.
A leader who cannot speak of the future and convey a dream is a person who is not qualified as a leader. Organizations led by a leader cannot always navigate the calm seas. You become a great leader when you are creative and lead people to take the lead.

The leader is the dealer of hope.
But the hope must be honest.
If you paint an unrealistic picture of the future, it will be counterproductive.
Good leaders are no optimists or pessimists, but hopeful realists.
