5. Hajj
(Pilgrimage to the home for whoever is able to travel)
Hajj in
language: it is the intention to most, and idiomatically: it is to visit the
Sacred Mosque in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, to stand in Arafah, and to
circumambulate the Holy Kaaba. Hajj was imposed on every adult Muslim who
possesses financial and physical ability. The Almighty said: {And to God, it is
for the people to perform the pilgrimage to the home who is able to perform a
path to it} [Surah Al Imran verse (97)]. God has imposed the Hajj as a
purification for souls, and education for them on the meanings of slavery,
obedience, and patience. The Prophet, peace, and blessings be upon him, said:
“Whoever performs this pilgrimage to this house and is not spoiled and not
corrupted, he will return like the day his mother gave birth to him.” [Narrated
by Al-Bukhari No. (1449), and Muslim No. 438- ( 1350), on the authority of Abu
Hurairah, may God be pleased with him).
This is a
detail of the fifth pillar of Islam, Hajj for those who want to expand:
It is the
fifth pillar of the basic pillars of Islam, and it has the advantage of being
inclusive of what is included in the other pillars.
And its
meaning in language: the intention to the most.
And its
meaning in the legal terminology: Visiting specific places at specific times
with specific actions. The virtue of Hajj
On the authority
of Abu Hurairah (may God be pleased with him) that the Messenger of God (may
God bless him and grant him peace) said:
(Whoever
performs the Hajj to God and does not compassion or commit adultery, he will
return as the day his mother bore him).

Hajj
Recommended
travel and prayers
From the
Sunnah, the traveler has to say farewell to family, friends, and acquaintances.
The traveler
says to those who say goodbye to them (may God bless you, whose deposits are
not lost).
The resident
says to the traveler (may God entrust your faith, your faithfulness, and the
end of your work, in the protection and protection of God, may God provide you
with piety, forgive your sins, and guide you to good wherever you go).
Before
setting off, it is desirable to pray the two rak' ahs of travel. In the first
one read (Say, O disbelievers ....) and in the second (Say God is One ....)
after Al-Fatiha.
After the
completion of the prayer reads verse chair.
When leaving
his house, he says:
(In the name
of God, I trust in God, there is no power and no strength except in God. O God,
I seek refuge in You that I go astray, deceive, erode or erode, or are darkened
or darkened, or ignorant or ignorant of me).
After riding,
he will say takbeer three times (God is great, God is great, God is great) and
then he says: (Glory be to the one who mocked this for us and we did not have
two horns for us, and we are to our Lord for those who are upside down. And the
Caliph in money and family, O God, I seek refuge in You from the misfortune of
travel, the gloom of the scene, and the misfortune of turning in money and
family.)
Then he reads
Ayat al-Kursi, Al-Ikhlas and Al-Mu`tathin
Hajj singular
And what it
means is that the one who intends to perform Hajj and from the meeqaat is
forbidden with the intention of Hajj only, then it is fulfilled after that, and
this remains forbidden until he stands in Arafah and throws Jamrat al-Aqabah,
then he dissolves from his ihram.
And the logic the diagram on the right of the screen shows a single Hajj step by step.
God said:
(Hajj months the information therein, it is the imposition of Hajj is not obscenity and
immorality There is no doubt in the Hajj and do good God knows but the best
intake of piety and Atqon Aaoola Kernels).
Ihram
Ihram is
intention and fulfillment.
And it will
be from the meeqaat or a little before it, to increase reassurance.
If the
pilgrim wants to enter ihram, it is desirable for him to:
Cut his hair
or shave as usual before on.
He cuts his
nails and removes his pubic hair.
He takes a
bath and performs ablution.
He wears a
pure white robe and robe, and the news is better.
Perfume and
then pray two at a time is hatred.
Then he
intends to perform Hajj with the heart, and there is nothing wrong with him
saying with his tongue:
(Oh God, I
want Hajj, so make it easy for me and accept it from me. I intend to perform
Hajj and forbade it to God Almighty.
Then the
pilgrim responds by saying:
(God bless
you, be upon you, you have no partner for you, praise and blessing are for you
and the king, you have no partner) and he repeats it three times and concludes
with a prayer on our master Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace).
He descended from it and when meeting friends, acquaintances, and prayers.
Pillars of Islam Entering Makkah
When he
approaches Makkah he says:
(Oh God, this
is your protection and your security, so forbid me to fire, and protect me from
your torment on the day you raise your servants and make me one of your
friends and people of your obedience).
And after
entering Makkah he says:
(Oh God, the country is your country, and the house is your house, I came to seek your
mercy, and to complete your obedience according to your command.
Then he prays
on the Chosen Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace).
Entering the
Grand Mosque
Mustahabb
enter from the door of peace.
He enters his
right foot and prays on the Prophet (may God bless him and grant him peace) and
says:
(Oh God,
forgive me my sins and open the doors of Your mercy for me)
(Oh God, this
is your protection, and the place of your security, for my flesh, my human, my
blood, my brain, and my bones are forbidden to the fire).
When watching
the Kaaba cheering and saying takbeer, there is no god but God, and God is
greater three times. He raises his hands and makes supplication. When seeing
the Kaaba, supplication is answered:
(Oh God, make
me the answer to the invitation in goodness)
(I seek
refuge in the Lord of the house from religion and poverty, and from chest the tightness and the torment of the grave)
(Oh God, I
ask You to forgive me and have mercy on me, and to release my neck from the
fire).
Or supplicate
what he needs from God Almighty and pray on the Prophet (may God bless him and
grant him peace) and say:
(Oh God,
increase this house in honor, glory, honor, and esteem, and increase its honor
and generosity from those who perform Hajj or Umrah in honor, honor, glory,
esteem and righteousness, O God, you are peace and from your peace, so we may
God bless us with peace).
Circumnavigation
It is
desirable at the beginning of the Tawaf to face the Kaaba so that the Black
Stone is to its right, then move to receive the Stone and intend to perform the
Tawaf (Tawaf of Umrah or Tawaf of Advent).
It starts
from the brown alabaster line and says: In the name of God, God is greatest,
God is the greatest, faith in you, faith in your book, fulfillment of your
pledge, and following the Sunnah of your Prophet.
receives the
stone and kisses it if able.
If it is not
possible to kiss him, he touches him with his right hand (receiving) and kisses
his hand.
If this is
not possible, he will stand facing the Black Stone, pointing to it with his
hands only once, and saying "In the Name of God, and God is
Greatest," then the circumambulation begins.
How to point
(to raise his hands at his shoulders and put their insides towards the Black
Stone and point to them only once).
The
circumambulation consists of seven circuits, and al-Raml is Sunnah in the first
three circuits, and al-Imtaba'a in all circuits for each circumambulation
behind it is a sai.
(The sand and
the impression is for the man only), and that is in the circumambulation that
follows it only. If completed the circumnavigation covered his shoulders.
Hajj
He says at
the door of the Kaaba: O God, the house is your home, the sanctuary is your
protection, and security is your security, and this is the place of your
refuge.
He says at
the Iraqi corner: Oh God, I seek refuge in You from suspicion, polytheism,
discord, hypocrisy, bad morals, and bad looks in money, family, and children.
He says
between the Shami and Yemeni pillars: Oh God, make it an acceptable pilgrimage,
a gracious pursuit, a forgiven sin, an acceptable act, and a trade that will
not be cleared, oh dear, O Forgiving.
And it is
desirable for him to receive the Yemeni corner whenever he passes it during the
circumambulation, by touching the corner with his hands or his right, and if he
is unable to do that, he is recommended to point to it.
In order for
the Tawaf to be valid, one must completely stop walking when receiving the
Yemeni Corner.
He says
between the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone: Our Lord has given us good in
this world, and good in the hereafter, and saved us from the torment of fire.
Oh God, I seek refuge in You from disbelief, want, and positions of shame in
this world and the hereafter.
In the three
rounds, he often said, "Oh God, make it an acceptable Hajj, a forgiven
sin, and a gracious effort."
He says in
the remaining four: O God, forgive, be merciful, pardon, and honor, and go
beyond what you know, for you are the dearest and most generous.
And a lot of
supplication, including the good of this world and the hereafter.
At the end of
the circumambulation he receives the stone or points to it with his hands and
every time it passes in front of it during the circumambulation.
HajjHajj
You kneel on
the circumambulation
After
completing the circumambulation, he prays the two rak' ahs of circumambulation
behind the shrine of Abraham, peace be upon him, even at the end of the sanctuary or anywhere in the sanctuary, permissible in the event of crowding.
It is read in
the first, say, O disbelievers ... and in the second, say God is one .... after
Al-Fatiha.
God Almighty
says: (And they used the shrine of Abraham as a prayer)
He invokes
after the prayer: (Oh God, you have called your servants to your home, and I
have come seeking your mercy, seeking your pleasure, and you have cursed me
with that, so forgive me, for you are able to do everything)
And on the
authority of the Prophet (may God’s prayers and peace be upon him),
(Circumambulation in the house is prayer, except that God has permitted logic
in it, and whoever utters the utterance is only fine.) And accordingly, it is
required for the circumambulation to be pure from major and minor impurity, and
to cover the private parts.
In the event
that the circumambulation is interrupted for prayer or to renew ablution, the
circumambulation is completed from the beginning of the cycle in which it was
held.
The obligor
Then the
obligor comes and invokes:
(Oh God, protect me from the accursed Satan,
and protect me from all evil, and convince me of what you have provided me, and
bless me in it).
And
supplication when the obligor is answered.
Zamzam water
Then after
that it is desirable for Zamzam to come and drink and rip off and say when
drinking: (Oh God, inform me that the Messenger of God (may God bless him and
grant him peace) said: (Zamzam water when he drank it))
I drink it
and I pray: (O God, I ask You for useful knowledge, broad provision, and a cure
for every disease).
(O Allah,
bring me into Paradise without punishment or reckoning, and grant me the
accompaniment of your Prophet and our Master Muhammad (may God bless him and
grant him peace) in the highest paradise).
He calls for
what he needs from God Almighty and prays on the Chosen Prophet (may God bless
him and grant him peace).
The period of
stay in Makkah until the eighth day of Dhu al-Hijjah
During this
period the pilgrim exploits it by:
Too much
prayer in the Grand Mosque (praying with a hundred thousand prayers)
He does a
great deal of circumambulation, because circumambulation is the best act of
worship in the Grand Mosque.
On the
authority of the Messenger (may God bless him and grant him peace) said:
(Whoever goes
around the house for a week, and prays two rak' ahs, it is like freeing a neck).
On him (may
God bless him and grant him peace):
(God descends
twenty and one hundred mercies on the pilgrims of His Sacred House every day:
sixty for the two worshipers, forty for the worshipers, and twenty for those
onlookers (to the Kaaba))
When a
pilgrim roams and looks at the Kaaba, he receives eighty mercy.
On him (may
God bless him and grant him peace):
(Whoever
roams the house fifty times will be freed from his sins, like the day his mother
gave birth to him).
And once
there are seven circuits, and after every seven circuits, he must pray two
rak'ahs.
The first
day: the eighth day of Dhu al-Hijjah
Going to Mina
in aOn the morning of the Day of Tarwiyah, i.e. the eighth of Dhu al-Hijjah, and after the
Fajr prayer in Makkah, all pilgrims go out to Mina after sunrise and Duha
prayer.
So he stays
there until after sunrise on the day of Arafah, that is, he prays five prayers
in Mina, namely (Zuhr - Asr - Maghrib - Isha - and the dawn of the next day i.e.
the ninth day of Dhu al-Hijjah), and upon heading to Mina he says:
(Oh God, I
beg you, and I pray to you, so inform me the good of my hope, forgive me, and
trust me with what you have entrusted to the people of your obedience, for you
are capable of everything.)
In Mina, the
pilgrim abounds in dhikr and saying:
(Our Lord,
grant us good in this world and in the Hereafter a good and save us from the torment of Hell).
And it is
Sunnah to stay and pray in the Al-Khaif Mosque.
The second
day: the ninth day of Dhu al-Hijjah (the day of Arafah)
After the sun
rises on the day of Arafah, the pilgrim goes from Mina to Arafat and says on
his journey:
(Oh God, I
have turned to you, and your honorable face I wanted, so make my sin forgiven
and my pilgrimage acceptable, and have mercy on me that you are able to do
everything).
The pilgrim
frequently recites the recitation of the Qur’an and reads the Qur’an, and from
the words of our Lord, grant us good in this world ....., and he stands in
Arafat.
Arafat is all
a position, but the best one is the position of the Messenger of God (may God
bless him and grant him peace) at the great rocks at the foot of the Mountain
of Mercy.
And if his
gaze falls on the mountain of mercy, God will praise and glorify him.
And it is
Sunnah to go to the Namira mosque to hear the sermon, and to pray Zuhr and Asr
together at the time of Zuhr with one azan and two iqamas with the general imam
without praying the Sunnah between them.
And he tries
hard to be present at heart and tries hard to cry.
And he
abounds in supplication, chanting and reciting the Qur’an standing and
standing, and he lowers his voice in supplication, insists in supplication, and
repeats it three times, and he is keen to make the future of the Holy Kaaba
open and conclude his supplication with praise, glorification, and praise to God
and prayers on the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Sunnah for
pilgrims to take a bath for the rituals of Arafa.
Hajj
The ifadah
from Arafat to Muzdalifah
When the sun
sets on the day of Arafah, the pilgrim will head to Muzdalifah, reciting,
praising, glorifying, cheering and praising, and says:
(God is great
God is great, there is no god but God and God is great, God is
great, praise be to God)
And he says:
(O God, I desire, and you I hope, so accept my ritual, grant me success, and
grant me more goodness in it than I ask, and do not disappoint me, for you are
God the Generous Horse
The pilgrim
walks to Muzdalifah with serenity and dignity, without hurrying so as not to
harm anyone.
When the
pilgrim arrives in Muzdalifah, he tries to go down near the Al-Mash'ar al-Haram
mosque (Jabal Qazah), if he can.
It is
desirable to pray a lot, recite dhikr, recite the recitation of what is
available from the Qur’an.
(If Ovdtm of
Arafat God, remember when the Sacred Monument and Azkroh as if you were guided
by him to those who go astray and then * Oviadwa in terms of length people and
ask forgiveness of God that God is Forgiving, Merciful)
Then he prays
Maghrib and 'Isha' after the beginning of the time for Isha, with one prayer
and one iqamah, and delays the Sunnah of Maghrib, Isha, and Witr until after
the obligatory prayer of Isha.
From the
supplication mentioned in Muzdalifah: (O God, I ask you, the signs of goodness,
its rings, its collections, it's beginning, its end, its appearance, and its
interior, and the degrees of the highest in Paradise, and that you are good for
me in all of my affairs, and that all evil is removed from me, for no one else
does that, and only you can do it.)
And do a lot
of praying for forgiveness, and spend the night in Muzdalifah until midnight.
Then the
pilgrim is provided with 70 pebbles (over the size of chickpeas and without
hazelnuts) to throw all the pebbles.
If dawn
comes, it is Sunnah to pray Fajr at the beginning of its time, then he says:
(God is
great, God is great, God is great, there is no god but God, and God is great,
God is great, and God is praised.) And he prays on our master Muhammad (may God
bless him and grant him peace) and calls, raising his hands to heaven.
It should be
noted that all of Muzdalifah is a position except for Wadi Mahar.
Hajj
The third
day: (Walking to Mina / Day of Sacrifice)
After the
morning prayer and before the sun rises, the pilgrim goes to Mina and exerts
his efforts in making the recitation a great deal, and it is better for him to
say in his path:
(Oh God, you
did well, and from your torment I had compassion, and to you, I turned, and from
you I feared, O God, accept my hermit, the greatest reward, have mercy on my
supplication, and answer my call) and pray on the Prophet (may God bless him
and grant him peace).
If he reached
Wadi Mehsar faster than a stone throw, and when he reached Mina, he said:
(Praise be to
God, who reached her safe and healthy, O God, this is from me I came to her
while I am your servant, and in your grip, I ask you to wish me what I have
entrusted to your saints, O God, I seek refuge in You from deprivation and the the calamity of my religion, O Most Merciful).
The actions
of Mina on the Day of Sacrifice are numerous, and they are: throwing Jamrat
al-Aqabah - Slaughtering - Shaving - Tawaf al-Ifadah - Sa'y if it was not done
before.
Hajj
1 - Stoning
Jamrat al-Aqaba
The pilgrim
throws seven pebbles and says to each one: (In the name of God, and God is
great, in spite of Satan and his party, and to please the Merciful)
Al-Hajj
interrupts Talbiyah with the first throwing.
The time for
stoning is from the dawn of the day of slaughter to the dawn of the next day,
but the Sunnah is for the stoning to be between the sunrise and the zenith, and
it is permissible to throw the stoning after sunset until dawn, but with
disliking except for an excuse.
Throwing the
Jamra so that the pebble strikes the sign (pillar) of the Jamra or falls in the
surrounding circle and the pilgrim will be standing in the future of the Jamra
so that he puts Mina on his right and the way to Mecca on his left, as for the
throwing from over the bridge from any side.
Hajj
2- Shaving or
shortening
The hair must
be shaved or shortened by the length of a fingertip (2 cm), and it is desirable
to shave it completely and with a mouse because of the hadith of the Messenger
of God (may God bless him and grant him peace): On the authority of Ibn Omar
(may God be pleased with him) that the Messenger of God (may God bless him and
grant him peace) said:
(May God have
mercy on the shaved. They said: And those who fall short, O Messenger of God.
He said: May God have mercy on those who shave. They said: And those who fall
short, Oh Messenger of God. He said: May God have mercy on the shaved. They
said: And those who fall short, Oh Messenger of God. He said: And those who
fall short).
And women
only shorten as much as your fingertip.
Know, my
brother Hajj, that hair is a shameful commodity, and when shaving the hair,
then for every hair, you take a good and leave a bad thing and raise it a
degree.
And it is
desirable when the throat is said
(Praise be to
God for what He guided us, Praise be to God for what He has bestowed upon us,
God, this is my forgiveness, so accept from me and forgive me for my sins, O
God, forgive me and the shaved and negligent O broad forgiveness, amen. After
finishing shaving or cutting short he says: Praise be to God who isAhad...
after Al-Fatiha.
In the event
that the circumambulation is interrupted for prayer or the renewal of ablution,
the circumambulation is completed from the beginning of the cycle in which it
was.
The obligor
Then the
obligor comes and invokes:
Quest between
Safa and Marwa
He ascends to
the Safa so that he sees the Kaaba (if possible) from the Chapter of the Safa
and says when ascending:
(Indeed,
Al-Saffa and Al-Marwah are among the ritual acts of God.) Whoever performs the
pilgrimage to the house or performs the pilgrimage, it is not necessary for him
to circumambulate through them and whoever performs a pilgrimage with them.
Then he says:
(God is
great, God is great, God is great, and praise be to God, God is great for what
He guided us, and praise be to God for what He gave us, there is no god but God
alone He has no partner, to Him is the King and to Him is praise He lives and
dies, He has good in His hand, and He is over all things, there is no god
Except for God alone, he believed his promise, triumphed his servant, dearest his
army, and defeated the parties alone, there is no god but God, and we only
worship him, sincere to him the religion even if the disbelievers hate. You
also guided me to Islam not to take it off from me until you die while I am a
Muslim) three times.
Then he prays
on our master Muhammad (may God bless him and grant him peace) and says upon
descending from As-Safa at every stage:
(Oh God, I
ask you the requirements of your mercy and the wills of your forgiveness and
safety from all iniquity and the spoil from every righteousness and to win
Paradise and deliverance from Hell)
It is the age of
jog between the two green lines (man only).
Calls between
the two green myelin:
(Our Lord,
grant us good in this world and in the hereafter a good and protect us from the torment of fire, Lord forgive and have mercy, pardon and honor, and transcend
what you know, for you are the dearest and the most generous.
Then he
reaches al-Marwah, so this is one cycle, and he completes seven circuits, the
first of which begins with al-Safa and ends in al-Marwah.
When standing
at the Marwah, he says (The attribute and the woman are among the ritual acts
of God ....)
And he says
the same dhikr and supplications that he said at Al-Safa, (The pilgrim is
fulfilled in Sa'y, not the pilgrim.)
After
completing the seventh round of says, it is desirable to pray two rak'ahs, and
in the Haram, it is better.
And it is
desirable to combine the supplications, invitations, and what is available from
the Noble Qur’an in pursuit.
And after the
end of the quest, he says: (Our Lord accepts us, heals us, forgives us, your
obedience, and thank you for our help).
Impressionism
is not required in the Sa'y according to the Hanafis (As for the Shafi'is, yes)
Purity is not
required in order for the endeavor to be valid, but considering that the
endeavor has become within the Haram, that is desirable.
In the event
that the say was interrupted due to prayer or any other reason, then the quest
would be completed from where it stopped.
Hajj
Shaving or
shortening
The hair must
be shaved or trimmed by the length of a fingertip (2 cm), and it is desirable
to shave it completely and with a razor because of the hadith of the Messenger
of God (peace and blessings be upon him):
On the
authority of Ibn Omar that the Messenger of God (may God bless him and grant
him peace) said:
(May God have
mercy on the shaved. They said: And those who fall short, O Messenger of God.
He said: May God have mercy on those who shave. They said: And those who fall
short, Oh Messenger of God. He said: May God have mercy on the shaved. They
said: And those who fall short, Oh Messenger of God. He said: And those who fall
short)
And women
only shorten as much as your fingertip
Benefit: I
know, my brother, the pilgrim, that hair is a shameful commodity.
The minimum
for the Hanafis is a quarter of the head, and for the Shafi’is three hairs. As
for the Malikis, it is necessary to accommodate the entire head by shaving or
shortening. (Do not forget that imitation of the sects is permissible).
It is
advisable to say when shaving:
(Praise be to
God for what He guided, Praise be to God for what He has bestowed upon us, God
this is my forgiveness, so accept from me and forgive me for my sins).
(Oh God,
forgive me and those who have fallen short and fall short O broad forgiveness,
Amen).
After
finishing the shaving or cutting it, he says:
(Praise be to
God, who has made up our pilgrimage).
If he does
that, the pilgrim will dissolve, and everything that is forbidden by ihram
becomes permissible for him.
If the
pilgrim is in Makkah and wants to perform another Umrah, then he is deprived of
the Mosque of Aisha, may God be pleased with her (At-Tanaim), then he returns
to Makkah for Tawaf and Sa'i
The
prohibitions of ihram
